I photographed this “noble” man at a local Celtic fair. Fairs offer great opportunities to photograph people.

I photographed this gentleman cleaning a large window. There is nobody looking at him like in yesterday’s image but the reflection of his face in the window creates the same effect than yesterday’s image. My eyes are wandering back and forth from the head to the reflection.

I photographed this street dancer while a bunch of people were watching him performing. Even if the person on the right hand side is totally out of focus my eyes are wandering back and forth from the dancer to that person. This gives this image quite some dynamic. In addition I converted the image into black and white using Nik Silver Efic pro.

I got the idea for this exercise from Harald Mante’s book “Serial Photography.” Go and photograph people from behind for the next two weeks.
I went to San Francisco and photographed on Market Street. There are literally hundreds of opportunity to get a great back portrait in a large city.

I photographed these flowers with a wide open lens giving me just a little bit of depth of field. In the original image the darker red flower on the left was in focus and the rest of the flowers were out of focus. In post production I applied a motion blur just to the flower that was in focus giving me this image.
Enjoy and keep on creating interesting images.
