I photographed the Washington memorial from the Lincoln memorial. There were so many people standing around on a Sunday afternoon that I had to include them in the composition. Enjoy and keep on photographing!
I walked around the Washington Memorial during the afternoon and I saw the sun shining right under the flag. I stopped my lens down to get the “star effect” and got this image.
This image is a totally different interpretation of the Washington Monument. It includes people that are moving towards it and coming from it. Notice how the curved path draws you right towards it.
I challenge you to pick a single subject and create many images. Walk around your subject, use different camera settings, photograph at different times of the day.
I did this exercise in Washington, DC. I picked the famous Washington Memorial. Enjoy and keep on working on your images!
I like this image. The gentleman on the scooter was riding along Union Square on a sunny afternoon. Some people were watching him and some were bury on their cell phones.
