I photographed real early this morning. The sun was barely up and created some beautiful light reflections on the small blue flowers. I transfered the image to my cell phone to work with the arto light painting app.

I photographed and evening scene in the central California foothills. After transferring te image to my Android system I used the Color Point filter to create this image.

I photographed an Agapanthus blossom and transfered the image to my android tablet to be processed with the “deeparteffects” app. I used the Monet filter to get this image.

For many the cell phone has replaced the digital camera over the last years. And indeed the cell phone cameras have gotten much better. At the same time many apps were developed to edit and crate some astonishing images. I thought what would happen if I take an image on my system camera and transfer it to my cell phone and have one of those digital effects apply to the image. I downloaded several apps to my phone and tablet and looked at the results. I was surprised and now I challenge you to do the same.

I photographed this magnolia blossom and transfered the image to my android system. I used  the free Photo Painter app to create this image.

I used a 60mm prime lens at f2.8 to focus on the upper right corner of the masonry work. Then I took eight exposures walking around the corner. Then I overlaid the images and used different blending odes and opacities to arrive at this image.

I wondered how the bathroom lights would look in a “Pep Ventosa” style image. Naturally I could not totally walk around the lights but I still got an interesting image.
