I photographed this image through a telescope. This is one of my favorite images. The stars and moon that fill the sky at night are a wonderful reminder that there’s so much more out there. Enjoy!

Last year at this time I met with my good friends and fellow photographers Dave and Val for some photography time in the eastern Sierra-Nevada mountain range. This area is a mixture of high elevation desert and very high elevation mountains. It is a true contradiction of gorgeous, rich foliage and dry, arid desert. This picture shows a bit of each. The fall foliage is spectacular. Enjoy your day!
I went over to the east side of the Sierra Nevada’s the other day. My guide Dorothy (posting tomorrow) showed me some spectacular places to photograph the fall Aspens.
It was a typical overcast morning on the Monterey Peninsula. I had planned photographing the sunrise but the clouds totally covered the sun. So I was looking for another subject. The waves coming in and I decided to photograph the waves instead using a long exposure time. This is the image I liked the best.
Enjoy and keep on photographing!
I went to the Mt. Shasta area the other day. Mt. Eddy is part of the Cascade Mountains and is used as a generic term for all the mountains and hills that are opposite of Mt. Shasta itself. I was hoping to get a sunset color cast on Mt. Shasta but was treated to this sunset over the Eddys instead.
Ich ging zum Mt. Shasta Bereich neulich. Mt.
