Kleiner Star
I watched this star in his metallic shimmering spring dress on a meadow while hunting insects. In autumn his plumage is rather dark. Also the now still bright yellow beak turns black.
Airport Control
I photographed these geese landing on a field at the Merced Game Refuge. It was amazing to me to see thousands of birds flying so close together and not colliding. It looked like a logistic masterpiece! Enjoy!
Tulips
Hummingbird in Flight
My grandpa admired hummingbirds and would always place feeders out by his window and watch them in the mornings. Last year he passed away and on the day of his passing, a hummingbird came to my window and hovered in the air, looking right at me for a few moments. This image reminds me of that morning and I always think of my grandpa when I see a hummingbird flutter by in the air.
Spring Drive
The lower elevations of the Sierra Nevada have their own beauty, especially in the spring time. I discovered this creek on a road I had never been on before. Very pretty. Have a wonderful day.

Took this a couple of years ago. Thought it was interesting the way this one grew.

Corona Krise
In 35 years I have never experienced such a yawning emptiness as in this VW employee car park. Everything is in place. A virus is sending us on a forced break.
