I was able to get out to view the Perseids Meteor shower and it was not disappointing. The Periseids are an annual event that happens every August and can generate 60 or more meteors per hour at their peak. Unfortunately the moon popped up over the hills about 1:30a.m. and washed out the show. But I was able to catch a few. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.
