Surprise Sunset

On my way home from exploring a new area to shoot, I was trying to avoid driving after dark in an unpopulated area on unfamiliar roads when I looked in my rearview mirror and saw this behind me. I found a place to pull off the road and and took some quick shots and this was the result. it was a spectacular and unexpected sunset. Enjoy your weekend and stay healthy.

Rice Silo

I recently went on a tour featuring Tundra Swans. We met at a rice dryer operation which had these wonderful silos. Not sure which part of the tour I like the photographs from most.

Ich war kürzlich auf einer Tour mit Tundra Swans. Wir trafen uns bei einem Reistrockner, der diese wunderbaren Silos hatte. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, von welchem ​​Teil der Tour ich die Fotos am meisten mag.

PS Monster

Wahrscheinlich eines der am meisten fotografierten Autos der Welt: der hochglanzpolierte Bugatti in der Autostadt Wolfsburg. Mit über 1.000 PS und über 400 km/h schnell markiert er aber auch irgendwie den absurden Höhepunkt der bisherigen Automobiltechnik. Einen Pavillon weiter hat die elektrische Zukunft schon begonnen.
Probably one of the most photographed cars in the world: the highly polished Bugatti in the Autostadt Wolfsburg. Henkereiche

Viel ist nicht mehr übrig von dieser uralten Eiche. Früher bin ich oft auf meinem Heimweg von der Schule an diesem Baum vorbei gefahren. Allerdings war er damals noch viel beeindruckender. Manchmal saß ich mit einer Schulfreundin unter dem Baum und wir tauschten unsere übrig gebliebenen Schulbrote. Ach ja! Lang ist’s her.
Not much is left of this ancient oak. In the past I often passed this tree on my way home from school. But it was much more impressive at that time. Sometimes I sat under the tree with a school friend and we exchanged our leftover school lunches. Oh yes! It’s been a long time.
