Colors of Fall
Autumn leaves disappear quickly in the Netherlands. The frequent strong wind at the coast can sweep the colored leaves from the trees in a wink.
A Surreal Scene
I’ve been taking a photography class for one of my fun class electives, and our most recent assignment was “envision the surreal”. This was a fun project and my idea for this image was to demonstrate how books are a form of escape and can lead us into entirely different worlds. I wanted there to be a contrast between the dark and colorless scenery in the background and the colorful landscape coming out of the book. Enjoy!
Peaceful Fall Days
The picture says it all. Peaceful fall beauty in Yosemite. Have a lovely day and stay healthy.
Just in one Day – Photos from Nov. 18, 2021 – taken at the Rogge-Mountain-Ranch
Just in one Day …, Tule Fog fills the San Joaquin Valley, as is typical for the season, but once in a while mountain ridges turn into islands in the sky amidst the fog ocean.
Just in one Day …, the setting Sun casts magic colors over the Valley.
Just in one Day…, we could observe the longest Lunar Eclipse in 580 years. Not that the duration of the Eclipse did matter to me. Rather, those clouds were playing around, leaving once in a while an open gap to observe the Lunar Eclipse.
Yosemite in November
Went to Yosemite last Tuesday.
Memory Lane: Iceland
I photographed the northern lights on our last trip before Covid struck. Iceland is worth any season. We flew in November 2019 just to see and photograph the northern lights. In the background you see the lights of Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland. Enjoy!
