The Klondike Gold Rush

A few days ago, I visited Dawson City, a little town in north-western Canada, next to the Yukon River.

Crossing the river is possible only by a ferry. A dirt road of 78 miles leads from the river to the most northern border to Alaska.

Dawson City was home of the 19th Century Klondike Gold Rush. In the center of the town many historic buildings of this time can be seen.
