Der Spielplatz vor unserem Haus wirkt zur Zeit etwas einsam und verlassen. Ich glaube aber, nicht den Kindern ist zu kalt, sondern den Eltern;-) The playground in front of our house seems a bit lonely and deserted at the moment. But I think it’s not the children who are too cold, but the parents;-)
Die letzten Tage musste ich ja im Krankenhaus verbringen. Das war in sofern schade, da wir zur Zeit besonders schönes Winterwetter haben und ich normalerweise mit der Kamera unterwegs gewesen wäre. So muss es heute mal ein Foto mit meinem Smartphone tun. Das Bild zeigt unseren Wolfsburger Fernsehturm vom Krankenhaus aus gesehen. The last few days I had to spend in the hospital. That was a pity in so far as we currently have particularly nice winter weather and I would normally have been on the road with the camera. So it must do today times a photo with my smartphone. “Gelbe Engel” werden die Rettungshubschrauber bei uns genannt. Dieser hier, Christoph 30, ist in Wolfenbüttel stationiert und landete am Montag für einen Rettungseinsatz in der Nachbarschaft bei mir vor dem Haus. Die große Rasenfläche ist dafür natürlich der ideale Landeplatz. Zum Glück hatte ich meine Kamera griffbereit, denn so etwas sieht man doch nicht jeden Tag. The rescue helicopters are called “yellow angels” in our country. This one, Christoph 30, is stationed in Wolfenbüttel and landed in front of my house on Monday for a rescue mission in the neighborhood. The large lawn is of course the ideal landing site for it. Luckily I had my camera handy, because you don’t see something like that every day.
Gewissermaßen als Nachlese zu unserem Thema der letzten Woche ist mein heutiges Bild zu sehen. Naturgemäß bestimmt zur Zeit Corona unseren Alltag, aber sehr viel mehr werden in Zukunft Ladesäulen und Elektromobilität ihn prägen. Überall werden neue Ladesäulen aufgebaut. Noch ist es ein ungewohnter Anblick, aber das waren die ersten Tankstellen im letzten Jahrhundert auch. Today’s picture is a sort of gleanings from last week’s topic. Naturally, Corona currently dominates our everyday life, but charging stations and electromobility will shape it much more in the future. New charging stations are being built everywhere. It is still an unfamiliar sight, but so were the first gas stations in the last century.

Das Jahr 2020 liegt nun fast hinter uns. Was also hat diese Landstrasse mit Sylvester und dem neuen Jahr zu tun? Weil neue Jahre viel Ähnlichkeit mit dieser Strasse haben. Sie starten klar und übersichtlich, man hat seine Pläne und guten Vorsätze und man hat das Ziel schon fast vor Augen. Und doch verbirgt sich so manche Überraschung rechts und links der Strasse, oder hinter der ersten Kurve. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich allen einen guten und gesunden Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2021. The year 2020 is now almost behind us. So what does this country road have to do with New Year’s Eve and the new year? Because new years have a lot of similarity with this road. Maria mit dem Kind steht in vielen Religionen auch als Symbol für die Erlösung von Krankheiten. Corona bedingt wird es für viele Menschen dieses Jahr doch ein sehr besonderes Weihnachten geben. Daher dachte ich, dass diese kleine Bronzefigur die Stimmung am besten trifft. Ich wünsche allen ein besinnliches Weihnachtsfest und bleiben Sie gesund. Endlich mal wieder ein sonniger Tag! Also habe ich gleich das schöne Wetter genutzt um eine Runde um den Allersee zu drehen. Die beste Gelegenheit um auch die neue Kamera (Sony A7III) auszuprobieren. Die Natur ist doch irgendwie der größte Künstler. Bei diesem prächtigen Abendhimmel musste ich einfach zur Kamera greifen. Die beiden Hochhäuser sind so etwas wie die Wahrzeichen unseres Stadtteils und werden zur Zeit aufwändig saniert. Daher kann am rechten Haus auch die Abendsonne durch das Gebäude hindurch leuchten. Nature is somehow the greatest artist. With this magnificent evening sky I simply had to reach for the camera. The two skyscrapers are something like the landmarks of our district and are currently being extensively renovated. That’s why the evening sun can shine through the building on the right side.
Wahrscheinlich eines der am meisten fotografierten Autos der Welt: der hochglanzpolierte Bugatti in der Autostadt Wolfsburg. Mit über 1.000 PS und über 400 km/h schnell markiert er aber auch irgendwie den absurden Höhepunkt der bisherigen Automobiltechnik. Einen Pavillon weiter hat die elektrische Zukunft schon begonnen. Probably one of the most photographed cars in the world: the highly polished Bugatti in the Autostadt Wolfsburg. But with over 1,000 HP and a speed of over 400 km/h, it somehow also marks the absurd peak of automotive engineering to date. One pavilion further on, the electric future has already begun.
