This is one of my favorite tree photos.
It was taken in the Scott Valley in Northern California. That’s not snow. It’s frozen fog and the whole valley was covered in it.
This was taken a short distance from where I took last weeks photo.
The storm which would bring snow to the area was threatening the peaks above Kings Canyon National Park.
Friedhelm and I went to the Big Trees last week. That is we went to Sequoia National Park which is near Yosemite.
The weather was mixed most of the day but for a brief period these wonderful clouds floated by.
Not long after I took this it began to snow, since we had other commitments it was a good time to head down the hill.
Sorry for the late post. I forgot and spent the day in another winter wonderland, Sequoia National Park and the Big Trees.
This was of course taken in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Yosemite. My only problem was which one to post.
I didn’t take many Almond Blossom photos this year.
The clouds after the storm inspired me to go out a shoot a few. I actually took this one standing on the roof of my old Ford Ranger. Glad I haven’t gained too much weight.
I took this at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo
My original intent was to post in color. But after playing around a little I decided that Black and White was pretty cool.
Went to the Chaffee Zoo in Fresno the other day.
These two were good enough to pose for me.
I titled this ‘Business End’ because this is the business end of a flower and the name was too long to keep typing.Friedhelm and I went to the Botanical Gardens in Berekely. I took this using my 100mm macro lens.
Took this on a quick trip to Lake Merced.
Not sure of there real name I call them ‘Lawn Daisy’s’.
Went to the coast yesterday. At the end I was treated to a pretty good sunset at Asilomar, Ca.Enjoy and go photograph something.
