Yes, there is still a lot of snow in the high country of Northern California. That large flat spot behind the snow people is actually an ice/snow covered lake.
Ja, im Hochland Nordkaliforniens liegt immer noch viel Schnee. Die große flache Stelle hinter den Schneemenschen ist eigentlich ein eisbedeckter See.

The Dogwoods are in full bloom and the water is running. The second photo gives you a better idea of what happening with the Dogwoods
Street Art
I don’t know how many layers of paint there are on the first photo but this has been a place for ‘communication’ for a very long time. The second photo is from Fresno and is literally ‘Street Art’, the third is also from Fresno’s Tower District and I admire how long it must have taken to do this and the inspiration involved.
Ich weiß nicht, wie viele Farbschichten es auf dem ersten Foto gibt, aber dies war schon sehr lange ein Ort der „Kommunikation“. Das zweite Foto stammt aus Fresno und ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes „Street Art“, das dritte ist ebenfalls aus Fresnos Tower District und ich bewundere, wie lange es dafür gedauert haben muss und welche Inspiration damit verbunden ist.

Dieser Falke war sich meiner Anwesenheit sehr bewusst, rührte sich aber nicht von seiner Stange.
Northern Arizona
Recently went to Northern Arizona to addend my nephews wedding. I even had a little time to photograph. This first one is of a Fiddleneck, I’ve seen lots of yellow/gold ones but never this color. The second photo I liked the contrast of the backlit cactus against the wildflowers.
Kürzlich ging ich nach Nordarizona, um die Hochzeit meines Neffen hinzuzufügen. Ich hatte sogar ein wenig Zeit zum Fotografieren. Dieses erste ist von einem Fiddleneck, ich habe viele gelb/goldene gesehen, aber nie diese Farbe. Beim zweiten Foto gefiel mir der Kontrast des von hinten beleuchteten Kaktus gegen die Wildblumen.
