Recently, all the almond orchards surrounding my house have started to bloom and it’s starting to look like spring came early! Enjoy!
I like the way the light creates a divided appearance in this image. Black and white images seem to emphasis different shades of lighting in an image, which always creates a really interesting effect. Enjoy!
I thought this was an interesting image, as now many people tend to get the news on their phone, and purchasing a newspaper is becoming a fading priority. Even though newspapers are becoming a forgotten necessity in this world dependent of technology, they still document pieces of history that no brief news notification on a cell phone could every replace. The image here shows the newspaper stands appearing outdated and abandoned, even though the news is of current date. This seems to also reinforce the idea that newspapers are becoming a forgotten source of information to the rest of the world. Enjoy!
This back alley way in Merced always leaves a long strip of water in the parking lot after a rainstorm. I have always found the reflections in the water to be really interesting and fun to see when the light hits the water just right. I flipped this image upside down to give it an interesting effect. Enjoy!
Recently I took a day trip to Santa Cruz and took this image while walking along the beach. The weather was gloomy and the waves were pretty restless, as there were quite a bit of surfers out, despite the cold weather. Enjoy!
My grandfather loved hummingbirds. A few months ago he passed and the morning he left this earth, a hummingbird came to my window and hovered for a few seconds. Now, whenever I see hummingbirds I think of my grandfather. I took this image recently and it’s probably one of my favorites. Enjoy!
Recently, I took a walk around my house and photographed different sightings, and this happened to be one of the shots I captured. Enjoy!
Hope you all have a happy, healthy, and successful new year!
Every year my grandmother decorates her Christmas tree with ornaments that she’s collected over the years, and ties the ends of the branches with gold bows. Each ornament is unique and they each possess their own special meaning. Even though the holiday season is coming to an end, I figured I’d still share this image before the new year. Enjoy!
I took this image while in the car driving out of Oakland. I really liked the green muted shades in this image and the shadows on the buildings. Enjoy!
