Es ist doch erstaunlich, was am Wegesrand so wächst. Häufig läuft man daran vorbei und übersieht wie schön Mutter Natur die Pflanzengemeinschaften arrangiert.
It’s amazing what grows along the way. Often you walk past it and overlook how beautifully Mother Nature arranges the plant communities.
Auch wenn der Herbst mittlerweile merklich Einzug hält, gibt es noch Pflanzen die blühen. So wie hier auf meinem Balkon der Rote Lein und die Knospe einer Prachtwinde. Die Blütenpracht hält leider nur wenige Tage, aber sie sind immer wieder Farbtupfer zwischen den bereits verblühten anderen Wildpflanzen, die ich dieses Jahr ausgesät habe.
Even if autumn is now noticeably arriving, there are still plants that bloom. Like here on my balcony the red flax and the bud of a magnificent bindweed. The bloom unfortunately lasts only a few days, but they are always splashes of color between the already faded other wild plants that I have sown this year.
Diese Pflanze hat den schönen Namen “Convolvulus Tricolor blau”, oder auch spanische Ackerwinde. Allgemein gelten die Pflanzen als Unkraut. Dieses Exemplar wächst auf meine Balkon, zusammen mit verschiedenen anderen Wildblumen, die ich dieses Frühjahr in einem Blumenkasten angesäht hatte. Den Insekten gefällt es und mir auch.
This plant has a beautiful name “Convolvulus Tricolor blue”, or Spanish field bindweed. Generally, the plants are considered weeds. This specimen grows on my balcony, along with several other wildflowers that I had sown in a window box this spring. The insects like it and so do I.
Heute gibt es mal kein “normales”Foto. Anke und ich waren ja neulich im Mühlenmuseum in Gifhorn. Dort hatte ich dieses Bild von Blumen in zwei Blumenkübeln (s. unten) vor einer Mühle aufgenommen. Ganz nett, aber wenig spektakulär. Also habe ich mir überlegt, ob man nicht doch noch etwas Interessanteres daraus machen könnte. Und hier ist das Ergebnis.
Today there is no “normal” photo. Anke and I were recently in the mill museum in Gifhorn. There I had taken this picture of flowers in two flower pots (see below) in front of a mill. Quite nice, but not very spectacular. So I thought about whether one could not make something more interesting out of it. And here is the result.
