Concrete 05
17. December 2010 by Friedhelm.
I photographed at an under-path in Merced, CA. These are sacks of cement that were layed on each other to create a barrier at an under-path. The structure of the cement is just great.
Enjoy and happy Friday!

Concrete 04
16. December 2010 by Friedhelm.
This is another image from the Embarcadero Center. I like the mixture of different lines in this image. There are the straight line of the stair case and hand rails in contrast to the curved linesĀ on the bottom of the image.
Enjoy!

Concrete 03
15. December 2010 by Friedhelm.
Modern skyscrapers are unthinkable without concrete. I photographed this one on a rainy day in San Francisco. I had to get several exposures because I got raindrops on my lens but at the end I was happy with this image.

Concrete
13. December 2010 by Friedhelm.
The ancient Romans already used concrete and with the help of modern technology human kind is capable of creating skyscraper and long bridges using cement and reinforcement steel. Photograph concrete this week and see what shows up in front of your visionary eye and in your camera.
This is the “tulip” photographed in front of a high rise building. If you visit San Francisco it is located in the Embarcadero center.
Enjoy and have a great week with your camera!
