I used ambient and strobe light to create this image. The ambient light shows as “yellow” light.

These stars were attached to a Christmas letter. I liked the idea. Notice how the eyes go automatically to the brightest star in the left upper corner.Enjoy and happy photographing!

Decorations - inside 02

I photographed these wooden stars in a window before sunrise using a 70-200 lens mounted on a tripod. Besides the wooden stars there was a large paper star hanging in the window whose reflection in the window I made part of the overall composition of the image.

It is Christmas time and families in the Christian part of the world buy or create presents and decorate them and their homes for the Holidays. This creates a great opportunity to photograph decorations.
I photographed this bag full of goodies. The two vases serve as part of the composition.
