What comes to your mind when you see this image which I photographed in Old Town San Diego. Is this image the exception to the rule? Does the diagonal line separate? Think about it and enjoy the image!
When you have a rectangle and draw a line from the upper left to the lower right or the lower right to the upper left corner you divide the rectangle into two triangles. The line divides and creates new possibilities for interesting compositions. This is the photographic exercise for this week. Create interesting images with a diving line and two triangles.
This is actually a very simple image. It is the corner of a building. The color of the paint is the same, one part is in the sun and one in the shade. Also, I used a wide open lens with a shallow depth of field. Therefore the dividing line is clearly in focus and the rest is not.
enjoy this exercise and create interesting images!
