Medeiros is a primitive campground on the westside of the San Joaquin Valley in central California.

The camping spots are spacious, but there is no electricity or other services.

There are many different kind of birds present.

The early mornings are especially pretty. Enjoy the outdoors and observe what mother nature has to offer.

After a long stretch of dangerously high temperatures it finally cooled down in Central California. Therefore I decided to look for first signs of Fall colors on my morning walk. Sure enough I found them.

To escape the extreme Central California heat my wife and I camped a few days on the Pacific coast. For me it was a great opportunity to photograph the old Cypress trees at the Alan Grove at Point Lobos. Enjoy the collage!

I photographed Upper Yosemite Fall in the beginning of May 2022. It was freezing cold during the night and the water on the side of the Fall was frozen. Two hours later the frost was gone.

Today I had the opportunity to photograph the Mission San Juan Bautista in Central California. I used a Russian Vintage lens (Jupiter 8m) and in post production I gave this image a typical film look. Enjoy!
