Recently I had the opportunity to attend an organ concert at Balboa Park in San Diego. The Spreckels organ is the largest open air organ in the world. If you have the opportunity to visit San Diego, Balboa Park is a must. Enjoy!

Soda Lake Road
Soda Lake Road is the main road through Carrizo Plain. Mostly it is just a dirt road and during the rainy season it is sometimes impossible to use it. I used my drone to get an areal image at the southern entrance. Enjoy!
Semana Santa
In Spain, the week before easter is the time for big processions. In many towns the shrines and name saints of the churches are carried around by believers. Although this is not any more the blood stolling event of the flagellants, carrying around the heavy burdens in thick clothes is not easy in the sweltering heat. Here some pictures from Valencia and Merida, where the traditional masks are still worn.
Carrizo Plains
Carrizo Plains is located west of Bakersfield and North of Los Angeles. After the rainy winter this area comes to live. The hills are full of wildflowers and the normally very quiet and pipeful landscape is suddenly changed into a tourist attraction.
