Speed
I took my bike for a ride. The 360 camera was above my head and I had the video function on during the ride. In past production I increased the speed eight times. Finally I cut out one frame of the video.
Same technique than the first image except I increased the speed to sixteen times.
This is another image with sixteen times the normal speed. Enjoy!
Almond Blossom
The Almond trees are blooming in central California. I cut a small branch, picked a blue background, mounted my camera on a camera rail and took 34 `exposures a millimeter apart. In post I combined the images to create this image. Enjoy!
Standing with Both Feet on the Earth
This is another image I created with my new Insta360 camera. The title says it all! Enjoy!
Wires
Walking through some fields I discovered an old fence post with wires attached. I started photographing from different perspectives and created this collage. Enjoy!
Sunrise Mesquite Dunes
The incoming clouds of a winter storm in Death Valley changed into a “lava red” at sunrise. Enjoy!
Flood in Merced
Merced, CA suffered from a severe drought during the last years. Now the city is suffering from one rain storm after the other. Streets were flooded, farm equipment under water, Bear creek a raging river. People had to evacuate and houses were flooded. Today we had thankfully a break from the rain but tomorrow the rain will start again. One good thing happened. People are willing to help those who lost their homes and are currently in emergency shelters.
My Bike
I combined nine exposures of my bike to create this image. Enjoy!
Open Up
A flower teaches us an important lesson: One has to open up to see beauty. I wish you all a healthy and happy 2023.
Christmas Tree
I photographed the Merced Community Christmas Tree in downtown Merced. Enjoy and have a great Christmas!
