Built between 1962 and 1966 – at that time the longest bridge in the world with a length of 4.1 miles. The bridge crosses the mouth of the Columbia River between Astoria, Oregon and Megler, Washington. A truly exceptional experience to drive across this bridge

Few months ago, I visited a photo gallery at the California Coast where a photographer had a display of infrared images. Since then, I have been so attracted to this kind of photography that I started shooting images with this technique.
The Top of the World Highway between Yukon Territory and Alaska. One of the loneliest roads I have ever traveled. It is the most northern road that connects Canada and Alaska. Half of the road is paved, the other half is dirt and gravel. It was my second time going this route and I know for sure, I will be back.

Sterling Highway – a drive to the South End of Kenai Peninsula, Alaska
After about 23 miles on a dirt road with steep grades and switchbacks up to an elevation of 4000 feet I reached the summit of the Salmon Glacier with a fantastic view on the glacier below.
This Glacier is located in the Coastal Mountains of Alaska and British Columbia in the Boundary Range, one of many glaciers in this area.
