Dog Portrait
I recently took my dogs to the mountains and was a able to capture a few pictures of them playing in the meadow. I thought that this was a cute photo of my dog, Duce. Enjoy!
Last Hunt of the Day
I was headed back to my house after a sunset shoot and it was almost dark when I spotted this beauty in a tall dead pine tree. It ignored me for awhile and let me take a few quick shots before finding another perch. I am sure it was looking for its last meal of the day before I interrupted it. I believe it is a juvenile red tail, light morph, a recent fledgling. But feel free to correct me. Have a great weekend. Stay cool and stay healthy!
Trees growing at Rocky Places
Recently, traveling through National Parks in Utah, it was amazing to see at what locations Trees can make a Living. And, even after death, some Trees stay desiccated for a long time.
It’s summer.
Hiking in the Dunes
I had the opportunity to photograph these hikers in the Great Sand Dunes national Park in Colorado. These sand dunes are incredibly high and fascinating. I was told that the sand is 140 degree Fahrenheit (60 degree Celsius) hot. Protective shoes are a must!
