I took this image before the fires got really bad here in California. Recently, smoke has coated the blue skies and there has been no cloud in sight. I love this image as it reminds me of how beautiful the sky can be. Enjoy!
On my walk from the highway towards Point Lobos I missed this flower entirely. Coming back out I found these flowers in just a small area inland protected from the ravages the coast has to offer.
Auf meinem Weg von der Autobahn in Richtung Point Lobos habe ich diese Blume völlig vermisst. Als ich zurückkam, fand ich diese Blumen in einem kleinen Gebiet im Landesinneren, das vor den Verwüstungen der Küste geschützt war.
Lembert Dome (elevation 9455ft or 2882 m) is a beautiful rock formation at the edge of Tuolumne meadows in Yosemite National Park. I photographed the rock right before the storm clouds were moving in.

Went to see and photograph the Perseid Meteor Shower. I was so successful that I’m posting this instead. I had more luck with things that were on the ground.
