Walking is relaxing, good for your health and looks great in images. When you show a person walking you will never get the feeling that the image is “posed.”
Enjoy and keep on photographing!
Photos are meant to be shared
This week I like you to continue with portraits but instead of photographing a single person I ask you to photograph a couple. As always enjoy this exercise!
It is the task of the photographer to create an atmosphere of trust and and relaxation to create great images. I ask the two to jump up together and I got a nice image which I gave a vintage look in post production.

While we were photographing this gentleman walked by us and I asked him if he would like to be part of the photo shoot. Reluctantly he agreed but then he had a lot of fun. Janique, the model, was very good in engaging him so I got some pretty nice images.
In post production I changed the colors to increase the contrast in this image. Enjoy and keep on photographing
Look how the model is posing in this image. She is leaning slightly forward into the camera. Her right shoulder is lower than her left shoulder. The background is blurred out through the wide open lens and still the lines are straight. Her smile is great and she looks right into the camera.

Pic a person and ask him/her to be a model for an outdoor portrait shoot. This can be very challenging and a lot of fun. I met with my model before in a local cafe and we discussed the photo shoot. I also wanted to get to know her a little bit. Then we started and it was a lot of fun.
In the beginning I photographed her walking down the street. I got a lot of nice shots and this on I like to share.
Enjoy and have fun with this exercise!
