“Dinner in White”, that’s the translation from Italian language, which was performed by our local Italian restaurant “Piazza Maggiore” two weeks ago for nearly 190 guests who enjoyed themselves until midnight. This shot was taken a bit earlier, but I guess it can still serve as a night photograph. Salute! Cheers!

Salutations from a somehow strange, but friendly Gentleman in Amsterdam. He was obviously used to posing for photographers coming by.
Portrait of Jennifer, a young lady working at a Cologne photo exhibition, checking the exposed art works for possible damages caused during the exhibition time. She obviously was totally absorbed by both her work and the music on her headphones, so that it took some time to get in visual contact with her. Jennifer luckily agreed to pose for me, so here is one of the nice results of this unexpected photo session.
Her comes my contribution to this month’s topic “monochrome”. It’s a low key portrait of Julia, a young German model with roots in Middle-America. For me, Julia’s dreamy expression matches with both the moody environment and reduced tonality. Wishing you all a Happy and Productive New Year!

5 charming young ladies selling tasty waffles at a traditional Amsterdam store. Not only were they spontaneously happy to pose, but also honored me with a waffle for taking their portraits. I’m still waiting for their email to send them their wonderful picture …
Beautiful model Aima from Iran, which I addressed on Kalverstraat in Amsterdam, because she had such a unique look and style. She was instantaneously willing to pose, which she did very professionally.
