Oldtimertreffen, so wie die 6. Gifhorner Oldtimermeile, sind natürlich ein Highlight für uns Fotografen. Es gab jede Menge Motive, aber auch viele nette und interessante Gespräche mit den stolzen Besitzern und Besitzerinnen der Fahrzeuge. Für viele sind die bewundernden Blicke der Besucher auf ihre “Schätzchen in Lack & Chrom” auch ein wenig der Lohn für die ganze Arbeit die sie in ihre Fahrzeuge reinstecken.

Classic car meetings, such as the 6th Gifhorn Classic Car Mile, are of course a highlight for us photographers. There were plenty of motifs, but also many nice and interesting conversations with the proud owners of the vehicles. For many, the admiring glances of the visitors at their “treasures in paint & chrome” are also a little reward for all the work they put into their vehicles.

Das Besondere an der AutoStadt in Wolfsburg ist die Präsentation der durchaus wertvollen Oldtimer an ungewöhnlichen Orten. So wie dieser Samba-Bus aus dem Jahr 1966, der in einem der Shops steht. Mit weit geöffneten Türen wird er als Verkaufsfläche für Fanartikel, oder Accessoires rund ums Auto in den Shop und damit in den Alltag einbezogen.

The special thing about AutoStadt in Wolfsburg is the presentation of valuable classic cars in unusual places. Like this Samba bus from 1966, which is parked in one of the stores.
