A Silhouette of Spring
Perched Toucan
I was able to capture this image of a toucan at the San Diego Zoo when I was there not too long ago. I love how he posed proudly for this image, allowing me to get the best angle of his colorful beak. Enjoy!

Recovery
As you may already know California has had some devastating wildfires. The area around Mariposa has been especially hard hit. While it takes time Mother Nature has a way of healing. I recently took a ride into the foothills and along Gold Bullion Road I came across a hillside where there was a sure sign the healing had begun. The starkness of the burned bushes, the yellow flowers and the grey storm clouds caught my eye.
Amaryllis
The Amaryllis started to bloom at my neighbors front yard. Early in the morning I photographed them using a 180 mm macro lens mounted on a tripod. Enjoy and be creative with your images!

Eye of the Tiger
This is another image I took while at the San Diego zoo and it happens to be another one of my favorites! I love the golden tones in this image and how the light shines on the face of the tiger and his stripes. Enjoy!
