Perched High
There are quite a few old power lines around my house, and I noticed this bird perched up high on one of them. I like how he’s looking off into the distance with the ”High” sign next to him. Hope you enjoy!
High Above
I recently went on a hike and captured this image of a hawk soaring high above in the air. I thought this image was interesting because the tree branch on the right side acts as a frame, and you can see the bird with a bit of the valley in the background. Hope you enjoy!
Soaring High
A lot of birds have been flying around my house now that spring has arrived and the weather is getting warmer. This was a pair of doves that I saw flying around the fields the other day, almost as if they were chasing one another. Hope you enjoy!
Beach Days
I recently went to Morro Bay with a friend of mine, and we walked along the beach collecting seashells. The tide was high, and birds were swarming all around, searching for food. It was a cold, windy day, but the sunshine brought some warmth. Hope you enjoy!
Gathered Crows
The other day there were hundreds of crows swarming the entire area and flying through the skies. I saw this tree filled with them and quickly took a few pictures and captured this one with the crow flying mid-air. I also thought that the black and white coloring gives this image a creepier appearance. Enjoy!
Hummingbird
There are many hummingbirds that fly around my house and every so often, I am able to capture a really interesting image of these beautiful birds. I love how the sun shining on the hummingbird’s back shows off the green in the feathers. Enjoy!
Resting Bird
I’m not sure what kind of bird this is but I loved the way it’s causally resting on the telephone pole by the voltage sign. The moss on the wood also stands out against the gray overcast sky. Enjoy!
In Flight
One early morning, I was sitting outside and saw the hummingbirds pollinating the flowers on the tree next to my house. I quickly grabbed my camera and captured this image. Enjoy!
Hummingbird in Flight
My grandpa admired hummingbirds and would always place feeders out by his window and watch them in the mornings. Last year he passed away and on the day of his passing, a hummingbird came to my window and hovered in the air, looking right at me for a few moments. This image reminds me of that morning and I always think of my grandpa when I see a hummingbird flutter by in the air.
