I like to show relationship in my street photography like the relationship between a human being and an animal. This image is a snapshot that I took while walking away from a country flea market. Actually I was hoping to get some interesting images at the flea market but instead I snapped my camera on my way back to the car.
David and I drove to the Merced Game Refuge. Our plan was to photograph wildflowers. While looking around I discovered this magnificent damselfly. I used my relatively heavy 180mm macro lens to capture this image.
This is Slinky, our tomcat. he was watching closely what I was doing with this strange instrument called camera in my hands. I was holding the camera close to the ground using a 60mm prime lens at f2.8. The strobe was on a stand creating a beautiful omni-directional light.
