This obviously good-humoured water spirit is part of a fountain in the baroque garden of Blankenburg Palace.

I love the pairing of the soft blue and creamy whites in this image. It depicts a sense of serenity, as the roses reach up towards the sky. Happy Sunday!
My favorite place to photograph is the Ghost Town and California State Park of Bodie California. It’s been over two years since I’ve been able to visit and eagerly awaited Tioga Pass to open so I could quickly make the trip. As Bodie became abandoned over the years people just simply left, leaving much behind. The State has left the town pretty much how it was using the method of arrested decay, but very few improvements. This is a view of one of the houses, note the desolate landscape through the window. That’s what the area around Bodie is like.
Last night I walked in Rahilly Park in Merced, CA where I photographed this old tree. I tried to get a “Pep Ventosa style” image by walking in a circle around the tree photographing a new image every two feet or so. I only could get about a fourth of a circle and still in post production I got this imae.
Enjoy!
Recently, I went to the lake and captured this image of the water. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the clouds and colors of the sky were reflecting on the surface of the water, making it look like a watercolor painting! Enjoy!
