I am sure every recognizes this symbol. By the way, Berlin is a phantastic city to photograph in.

The key as a symbol is pretty well know especially among beer drinkers. you will find a slight variation on every Beck’s beer bottle.

I try to photograph a manhole in every town that I visit. I challenge you to do the same.

I prefer using the square format and I convert my images into monochrome. As always, enjoy this exercise.

Compare the first two-three rows on the left with the rest of the image. Notice how the image is divided in almost two triangle? This image is very dynamic. It has a certain “flow” in comparison to yesterday’s image.

Also a stable image but the feeling is very different in comparison to yesterday’s picture. The divided line would be in the center of the chairs as a virtual line. real lines and imaginary lines influence your composition totally different.

Study this image! The line thought the middle of the image separates the image into two almost mirrored parts. This means the image is balanced and feels very stable.
