Mariposa Sunsets.

This is a view I pass every time I travel to town. It’s one of the advantages of living in a mountain community. I never tire of the nature around me. Sometimes the views are just a little more spectacular than others. Again, my favorite time to head out with my camera, no matter where I am. Spectacular sunsets can change even the dullest or ugliest landscapes into something of bauty. Stay healthy everyone!!!

Bear Gulch Reservoir

Pinnacle National Park is one of the newer National Parks. It’s a great place to hike anytime but the summer where it can be extremely hot. The trails go from easy to strenuous and cover wide range of elevations offering wonderful views of the surrounding area. The only year round water source is the Bear Gulch Reservoir. A great place to relax before more exploration.

Der Pinnacle National Park ist einer der neueren Nationalparks. Es ist ein großartiger Ort zum Wandern, aber im Sommer, wo es extrem heiß sein kann. Die Wege verlaufen von leicht bis anstrengend und decken eine Vielzahl von Höhen ab, die einen herrlichen Blick auf die Umgebung bieten. Die einzige ganzjährige Wasserquelle ist der Bear Gulch Reservoir. Ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen vor weiteren Erkundungen.

Anke hatte es ja bereits gestern erwähnt, dass zur Zeit eine Menge Saharastaub über Deutschland hinweg geblasen wird. Dieses Naturphänomen verursacht jede Menge bunte und ungewöhnliche Farbkompositionen am Himmel. Nicht nur bei Sonnenauf -und untergang, sondern auch schon am späteren Nachmittag.
Anke had already mentioned yesterday that at the moment a lot of Sahara dust is blown over Germany. This natural phenomenon causes a lot of colorful and unusual color compositions in the sky. Not only at sunrise and sunset, but also in the late afternoon.

Farbspiele

Derzeit sorgt Saharastaub in der Atmosphäre für interessante Farbspiele bei Sonnenauf- und untergang. Nachdem ich gestern kein Glück hatte, habe ich heute einen tollen Sonnenuntergang gesehen und fotografiert.
Currently, Sahara dust in the atmosphere makes for interesting color plays at sunrise and sunset. After having no luck yesterday, I saw and photographed a great sunset today.
