Night in Columbia

Wolfgang, David and I went to Columbia, CA to photograph in the late afternoon and after sunset. I was happy with my star trails. Enjoy!

Vor zwei Tagen fiel mir zufällig mein altes Sony 30 mm Makro-Objektiv in die Hände. Eines dieser Objektive, die man mal gekauft, aber so gut wie nie benutzt hat. Zeit also, es mal wieder einzusetzen. Ein paar “Models” waren auf meinen Balkonpflanzen auch schnell gefunden.

Two days ago, my old Sony 30mm macro lens happened to fall into my hands. One of those lenses that you bought once, but hardly ever used. So it was time to use it again. A few “models” were quickly found on my balcony plants.

View From The London Eye

I recently returned from a trip to London and Paris. Taking a ride on the London Eye was a favorite part of the tour. This is looking at the pod slightly below mine. The top of the Eye is 443′ and this photo was taken as we began out descent.

Hamburg per pedes

Am Wochenende war ich für ein paar Tage in Hamburg und bin bei sehr sommerlichen Temperaturen touristisch unterwegs gewesen: am Hafen, an der Alster, auf St. Pauli.

At the weekend I was in Hamburg for a few days and was touristy in very summery temperatures: at the harbor, at the Alster, on St. Pauli.

Unedited- Lightning Storm

The other night, a severe lightning storm swept through the entire Central Valley. I quickly got this unedited image, and I like how it appears to have a portal effect in the sky. It was a little scary to be out there, but I’m glad I was able to get at least one interesting image. Enjoy!
