In August 2013, just before my trip to Germany, I challenged you to photograph at a farmers’ market. I continued this exercise in two small towns in northern Germany and I ask you to do the same this week.

I photographed this door in the city of Muehlhausen, located in central Germany. The gold colored ship on the top of the door is interesting since the city is located quite a distance away from any ocean. It would be interesting to know why the ship is there.

This is the entrance door to a pharmacy which I photographed in Tangermuende, a small city in north-eastern Germany. I liked the beautiful cobblestone street in front of the building.

This door could be from the same time period than yesterday’s door but it has not been kept up well. It maybe an eye soar for many people. I thought it was interesting.
