A few days ago, I drove to the Sierra to take photos of the burnt area of the French Fire. I stopped at the area where the fire crossed Hwy 140.
The area where the fire has burnt the landscape is completely destroyed.

While driving through the Sierra I saw this little lake on the side of the road. I had to stop and take some photos.
Sailing out of San Francisco for a cruise to Alaska.
It’s always exciting to enjoy the views when leaving on a cruise ship and sailing underneath the Golden Gate Bridge.
A day at the California Coast in Pacific Grove,
Asilomar Beach is a narrow sandy beach but also a rocky coastline in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Bay Peninsular.
I was spending the day in this lovely place enjoying the waves of the ocean and the great views of the coastline.
When a road-trip comes to an end the emotions of sadness appear.
It was my last day on my recent trip through the south and the sunset showed a reflection of my feelings.
I had a wonderful time alone on the road for eight weeks, but somehow all things will come to an end eventually.
Now it’s time to start planning for the next trip.
On my travels through the South-West I visited this City and its famous Bridge across the Colorado River on the western Stateline of Arizona.
Originally, this bridge was built in the 1830s and crossed the River Thames in London. The Bridge was later sold to an American, who transported the exterior granite bricks from London to the United States for the construction of a new bridge in Lake Havasu City.
Today the London Bridge at Lake Havasu City is a tourist attraction and visited by millions of people around the world every year.
While on a road-trip through the South-West, I finally found the time to work more intense on my infrared photography.

A Tree in the Desert – surrounded by a road-way – complimented by a group of trees nearby – the road vanishes in the distance
A scene so serene

Nearby another tree – bent, but not broken – waiting for the Spring
While on a Camping Trip I am travelling through Texas and stayed a few nights at this State Park in Brown County, TX
The Central Valley with its agricultural environment offers many opportunities to capture historic farm buildings.
One of those I found few days ago while driving around this remote farmland.
