I took seven exposures of this single blossom organizing the images in payers in post production. then I used masking techniques and different blending modes to arrive at this image.

The Gazanie, also known as midday gold, only opens its flowers when the sun shines. In rain or cloudy weather the flowers remain closed.

Lilac bushes are currently blooming in many gardens and parks. It’s a pity that I can’t send you the scent!

Spring
Living in the Past
Normally this time of year I would be out and about looking for wildflowers and other springtime opportunities. One would be the Dogwoods of Yosemite. Since I can’t do that this year I’m posting one from last year, spider web and all.
Normalerweise war ich zu dieser Jahreszeit unterwegs, um nach Wildblumen und anderen Frühlingsmöglichkeiten zu suchen. Einer wäre der Hartriegel von Yosemite. Da ich das dieses Jahr nicht kann, poste ich eines aus dem letzten Jahr, Spinnennetz und alles.
Traveling through the Universe
I dropped an effervescent tablet in a glass of water which I positioned in a dark room. On each side I mounted a high sync flash. I had mounted the camera on a tripod and manually prefocussed. I used an exposure time of 1/8000 of a second to freeze the fast moving bubbles.

Right now my rosemary is blooming on the balcony. These small only about 2 cm large flowers have an interesting shape. I have also seen that the left flower resembles a rabbit’s head.
Graugans mit Nachwuchs
This greylag goose with its chicks seems to be a little perplexed at the pond shore. I guess this is the end of the road for the little ones. The legs are still too short.
