Heute mal wieder etwas aus der Experimentier- und Spielecke. Wie der Titel schon sagt, ist das Thema hier das Malen mit Licht. Wer sich also mal künstlerisch austoben möchte, dem sei diese Technik empfohlen. Obendrein eine sehr entspannende Sache, wie ich finde.
Today something from the experiment and play corner. As the title suggests, the theme here is painting with light. So if you want to let off steam artistically, this technique is recommended. It’s also very relaxing, in my opinion.
Auch wenn es der typisch weiß/graue norddeutsche Himmel nicht vermuten lässt, so kommt doch genug Sonnenlicht durch, um die Tulpen im Wolfsburger Barockgarten zum leuchten zu bringen.
Even if the typical white/grey North German sky doesn’t suggest it, there is still enough sunlight coming through to make the tulips in Wolfsburg’s Baroque Garden shine.

Zugegeben, dieser Garten wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas verwildert. Aber der Eindruck täuscht. Die Hochbeete sind prall voll mit Früchten, Kräutern und Gemüse. Eine ganz interessante Anbaumethode übrigens, die selbst auf Hochhausdächern funktioniert.
Admittedly, this garden looks a bit overgrown at first glance. But the impression is deceptive. The raised beds are bursting with fruits, herbs and vegetables. A very interesting method of cultivation, by the way, which even works on the roofs of high-rise buildings.

Die Blüten meiner Minze sind zwar winzig klein, aber doch der große Magnet für alle möglichen Insekten. Das friedliche Bild täuscht jedoch. Die Büten sind auch das Jagdrevier z.B der Knotenwespe links, die es auf Bienen abgesehen hat. Die Goldfliege rechts muss sich aber vor ihr nicht fürchten.
The flowers of my mint are tiny, but still the great magnet for all kinds of insects. However, the peaceful picture is deceptive. The blossoms are also the hunting ground of the knot wasp on the left, for example, which has it in for bees. The gold fly on the right, however, does not have to be afraid of it.
Man könnte das Bild auch “Überwintern im Kloster” nennen. Das Kloster Mariental, nicht weit weg von uns gelegen, bietet zu jeder Jahreszeit interessante Motive.
You could also call the picture “Wintering in the monastery”. The monastery Mariental, located not far from us, offers interesting motifs at any time of the year.
Meine Nachbarin hatte dieses Jahr verschiedene Sorten von Sonnenblumen in unserem Vorgarten am Haus angepflanzt. War ein toller Anblick. Leider ist die Pracht mittlerweile schon verblüht.
My neighbor had planted several varieties of sunflowers in our front yard by the house this year. It was a great sight. Unfortunately, the splendor is now already faded.
Dieser schöne Blumenstrauss stand im Eingangsbereich des Klosters Isenhagen. Alle verwendeten Pflanzen gibt es so nur in der Übergangszeit zwischen Sommer und Herbst. Ich finde, damit hat man sehr schön den Wechsel der Jahreszeit dargestellt.
This beautiful bouquet of flowers stood in the entrance area of the monastery Isenhagen. All the plants used are so only in the transitional period between summer and autumn. I think, with it one has represented very beautifully the change of the season.
So ein Verkaufsmarkt für Kunst- und Dekorationsobjekte aller Art für Heim und Garten bietet naturgemäß auch viele Fotomotive. Besonders witzig fand ich diese Gänsehälse aus Keramik, die man in Blumenkästen stecken kann. Das Ganze war auf einer kleinen Mauer aufgebaut, so dass man das Motiv gegen den Gewitterhimmel aufnehmen konnte.
Such a sales market for art and decorative objects of all kinds for home and garden naturally also offers many photo motifs. Especially funny I found these ceramic goose necks that you can put in flower boxes. The whole thing was built on a small wall, so you could take the motif against the stormy sky.
