Shadow of a Playground
I am trying to improve my photographic skills with my drone. I flew right over a playground and photographed it from different heights and angles. This shot was straight down. I like the shadows in this image.

Yosemite May 2019
Yosemite National Park in May is simply beautiful. In this image one sees Yosemite Valley on the left hand side and Bridelveil Fall on the right hand side. In the front left there is a blooming Redbud bush

Wringer
In Tillamook, OR we visited the local Pioneer museum. In the basement I discovered this old tub with the wringer attached. At one time this machine was cutting edge technology today it is totally obsolete.

Purple Daisy
In order to bring out the beauty of this single purple Daisy I increased the contrast twofold. First I added a spotlight effect onto the center of the Daisy. Second I darkened and slightly blurred the green background.

Overlooked Beauty
It looks like my fellow photographers are preparing for our special week in the beginning of April. From April 7th – 13th we will share our very best images of Spring Flowers on this blog.
I took my morning walk and I discovered some purple flowers on the lawn. I picked a few, put them in a water bowl and photographed them backlit. I post I just added a free Topaz O’Keeffe ii filter.

Wildflowers Carrizo Plains
The contrast of yellow and purple blossoms is breathtaking at Carrizo Plains located about 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles. There are no trees growing on these hills due to the very low precipitation. If there is some rain falling during the winter month the wildflowers are coming out in full bloom.

I like photographing at night. This image was created while I was walking on Yosemite Ave. in north Merced, CA. Normally the street is very busy but I was lucky. There were a few moments where the traffic eased up and I was able to capture the street,
