Delft had a catholic cemetery between 1929 and 1969. Starting in 1960 a part fell victim to the improvement of vehicle access. However, what is left is a jewel and an island of peace.

Helmut, this is a great story that you are telling here. It reminded me of the cemetery we visited together in Munich in 2019. An equally peaceful resting place for the dead as well as for the living.
