Lange Zeit konnten Kunsthandwerker ihre Ware nicht auf Märkten anbieten. Nun geht es endlich wieder! An diesem Stand wurden jede Menge Socken angeboten, die in den letzten Monaten gestrickt wurden.

Brockenbahn
Wernigerode in the Harz Mountains is one of the railroad stations from which you can take the Harz narrow-gauge railroad to the Brocken, the highest mountain in northern Germany. It is not a museum railroad, but a regular railroad connection. Besides steam locomotives, diesel locomotives are also used.

Am vergangenen Wochenende waren Bernd und ich in Sachen Eisenbahnfotos unterwegs. Der Lokpark Braunschweig hatte seine Tore für einen Familientag geöffnet. Und es gab auch Motive, bei denen Eisenbahnen nur eine Nebenrolle spielen. Und das Verfremden hat mir einfach Spaß gemacht.
Last weekend, Bernd and I were out and about taking railroad photos. The Lokpark Braunschweig had opened its doors for a family day. And there were also motifs in which railroads play only a supporting role. And the alienation was just fun for me.

Hier hat man in früheren Zeiten sicherlich stilvoll seinen Kaffee und ein leckeres Stück Torte genießen können. Oder auch zwei 😉 .
