London Bridge

The London Bridge was purchased from the City of London by a U.S. businessman for $2.4 million in 1968. It was dismantled brick by brick and moved via the Panama Canal to Long Beach, CA and then trucked to Lake Havasu City, AZ. It was reconstructed, reinforced and reopened there in 1971 at a total cost of $7 million.
