London Bridge at Lake Havasu City

On my travels through the South-West I visited this City and its famous Bridge across the Colorado River on the western Stateline of Arizona.

Originally, this bridge was built in the 1830s and crossed the River Thames in London. The Bridge was later sold to an American, who transported the exterior granite bricks from London to the United States for the construction of a new bridge in Lake Havasu City.

Today the London Bridge at Lake Havasu City is a tourist attraction and visited by millions of people around the world every year.

Late Winter Storm at Zion National Park

“Bad weather makes great images!” I had a chance to proof it during my last visit to Zion NP. I was hoping for nice Spring weather instead I woke up to snowflakes and rapidly moving clouds. Once in a while there was a lighter moment and the sun almost peaked through.

The special thing about AutoStadt in Wolfsburg is the presentation of valuable classic cars in unusual places. Like this Samba bus from 1966, which is parked in one of the stores. With its doors wide open, it is integrated into the store and thus into everyday life as a sales area for fan articles or car-related accessories.

Abgelenkt

A few weeks ago, I was watching a group of dog owners out and about with their pets. At one stop, they were all focused on the dog trainer. All of them – except this four-legged friend. For him, the people with the cameras were much more interesting.
