Three years ago we photographed small rocks in a studio setting. This time I ask you to go outside and photograph rocks. Watch the light and the shadows! Take a look at the structure and don’t forget to have fun with this exercise!
I crossed Tioga pass and drove to a relatively small area called the Alabama hills, outside Lone Pine, CA. Many western have been filmed there in the 1950s and 60s. I found very interesting rock formations and even a few arches in this unique high desert landscape. Enjoy and create some great images!
