This week I challenge you to photograph with a selfie stick. They are usually pretty cheap and you can mount a cell phone action camera or even a small DSLR if you own a pretty sturdy stick. I challenge you not to photograph yourself but hold the camera straight up and get a great perspective with a wide angle lens. Keep in mind most people photograph at eye level and chances are that photographing with a selfie stick you will get some great shots.
I uses a small action camera that I mounted on a selfie stick. I wanted to see if I can use a sidewalk tree to frame my subject.
Enjoy the image and keep on working on your images.
By the way, if you don’t own or don’t want to purchase a selfie stick you can also use a ladder or a mono or tripod to hold the camera in the air. What matters in this exercise is the perspective!
