Friedhelm and I went to the Basilica of San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo Mission, more easily said and the Carmel Mission. There were a number of flowers blooming, this one caught my eye not only for the structure but also the vibrant background. If you’re in the area (or need a destination) this is a great place to photograph, both for the mission and the flowers.
