During this time of self-quarantine, we may find ourselves feeling a little off centered with this drastic change of pace in our daily lives. This image perfectly depicts the typical behavior of a cat, as they lazily lay around, enjoying the moment. I thought this image was a great example of the type of behavior we should embrace while given the mandatory time to slow down our pace. Enjoy!

Hummingbird in Flight
My grandpa admired hummingbirds and would always place feeders out by his window and watch them in the mornings. Last year he passed away and on the day of his passing, a hummingbird came to my window and hovered in the air, looking right at me for a few moments. This image reminds me of that morning and I always think of my grandpa when I see a hummingbird flutter by in the air.
Perched Toucan
I was able to capture this image of a toucan at the San Diego Zoo when I was there not too long ago. I love how he posed proudly for this image, allowing me to get the best angle of his colorful beak. Enjoy!
Eye of the Tiger
This is another image I took while at the San Diego zoo and it happens to be another one of my favorites! I love the golden tones in this image and how the light shines on the face of the tiger and his stripes. Enjoy!
Z is for Zebra
Recently, my family and I took a trip to the San Diego zoo, and I was able to capture some cool shots of all the different animals. This was one of my favorite images from that day and I thought the zebra’s stripes were really striking, especially in black and white. Enjoy!
Cruising in a Classic
Recently, a family member of mine had purchased a 64’ Ford Galaxie and we went and took it for a ride. It was an enjoyable one and it felt like a trip back in time, as we drove out in the country. Enjoy!
Veins of a Leaf
I thought the sunlight and shadows in this image beautifully brought out the veins in this leaf, while also presenting an interesting contrast. Enjoy!
Blooming Orchards
Recently, all the almond orchards surrounding my house have started to bloom and it’s starting to look like spring came early! Enjoy!
Fierce Feline
I like the way the light creates a divided appearance in this image. Black and white images seem to emphasis different shades of lighting in an image, which always creates a really interesting effect. Enjoy!
The Upside Down
This back alley way in Merced always leaves a long strip of water in the parking lot after a rainstorm. I have always found the reflections in the water to be really interesting and fun to see when the light hits the water just right. I flipped this image upside down to give it an interesting effect. Enjoy!
