I took this photo of the trees’ reflection in the water, and turned it upside down. I thought this image was a great one to post for the start of the fall season! Happy fall!

Fall Colors
The fall season is my favorite season of them all. I love the cold weather and how the colors of the trees contrast against the gray, hazy sky. I love the leaves in this image and how they appear so bright and vibrant compared to the deep brown of the tree trunks. Enjoy!

Bird’s Eye 01
Normal scenario: You see something interesting to photograph. You pick up your camera and move it to your face where you look through the viewfinder to frame your shot. This time I challenge you to photograph from at least three feet higher that you normally do. Ansel Adams, the famous American landscape photographer often photographed from a platform that was mounted on top of his car. You might want to photograph from the back of a pick-up truck, get a ladder or even use a quadcopter with a camera. As always, have fun with this exercise.
After the rain today I went out to photograph at the so called bike path at Rahilly park in Merced. Enjoy the image and keep on photographing!
High Dynamic Range – HDR 06
Let us continue to create HDR images this week. It is a lot of fun and one can get some great images!
I photographed these dogwood leaves in Yosemite National Park. Luckily it was a calm day. Camera setting f4, ISO 100, 85mm prime lens, 1/10 – 1/640 of a second exposure time.
Enjoy and use your camera!
