Es ist schon erstaunlich wie die Natur aus einer Pfütze neben einem Waldweg ein kleines Kunstwerk entstehen lässt.
It’s amazing how nature can turn a puddle next to a forest path into a small work of art.
Jennifer
Portrait of Jennifer, a young lady working at a Cologne photo exhibition, checking the exposed art works for possible damages caused during the exhibition time. She obviously was totally absorbed by both her work and the music on her headphones, so that it took some time to get in visual contact with her. Jennifer luckily agreed to pose for me, so here is one of the nice results of this unexpected photo session.
After the deluge
Central Europe had a wet autumn of biblical dimensions. Because of global warming the Arctic ocean evaporates more water which came down on us in the month of November and December. The advantage is that it offers some photographic possibilities

I love how all the colors in nature appear even more vibrant after a rain. I also love spotting all the raindrops resting on the leaves of every plant and inside the center of each flower! Enjoy!
Art at the Bombay Beach, Salton Sea
In the 1950s, Bombay Beach was called the “Salton Riviera”, with more visitors than Yosemite, some say. Since then, due to drastic environmental changes, the lake resort turned into a ghost resort. But, hold, for years more and more artists work and hang out in Bombay Beach, having an Art Biennale, last in March of 2023. Definitively, an interesting refreshing place to hang around for a bit.

Winterhimmel
Sonnenuntergänge im Winter zeigen manchmal geradezu irrwitzige Farben- und Farbkombinationen. Durch die schnell untergehende Wintersonne ist der ganze Spaß aber leider nur wenige Minuten zu sehen. Dieses Mal hatte ich zum Glück meine Kamera dabei.
Sunsets in winter sometimes show almost crazy color and color combinations. Unfortunately, due to the rapidly setting winter sun, you can only see all the fun for a few minutes. Fortunately, this time I had my camera with me.
